If power is what you crave, check out Clarion’s full-line of high-powered amplifier

Clarion’s 2005 amplifier line will satisfy all your power needs. It all starts with the audiophile-grade APA4300HX, a full-featured amplifier created as the perfect compliment to Clarion’s DRZ9255 — matching it both in performance and in cosmetics. For power and versatility, Clarion offers its APA4320 and APA2160. Small in design, great in cosmetics, and packed with great features, these two amplifiers can accomodate big system buildups without taking up a lot of space. For those looking for power with a conscience, Clarion offers its APA2001, APA450, and APA250 amplifiers. These three amps provide great power to a system without breaking the bank. So let Clarion pump your system with unbridled, life-giving power with its full-line of high-quality amplifiers.

Pulse-Width Regulated MOS-FET Power Supplies

Aside from the performance benefits, MOS-FET power supplies allowed Clarion to employ a smaller footprint when it came to the design of its APA4300HX, APA4320, and APA2160. Providing better heat dissipation and efficiency, pulse-width regulation adjusts the width of a power supply’s switching pulses. So when music dynamics increase, the pulses stay ON longer to charge the power supply’s capacitors

2-Ohm Stability (APA4320/2160)

Utilizing this design, Clarion’s amplifiers can drive lower impedance loads for increased power.

Gapped E Core Choke Coils (APA4320/2160)

Utilized in the power supply circuitry, Gapped E Core Choke Coils offer low impedance, making them resistant to harmful magnetic noise. This results in a more efficient amplifier and a low-noise power supply, which is important when achieving crystal clear sound.

Variable High/Low-Pass Crossover

Utilized by all Clarion amplifiers, this feature allows for extreme flexibility when designing a system. The crossovers can be adjusted and tuned to provide optimal speaker peformance, whether powering a subwoofer or satellite speakers. (APA4300HX: -24dB/oct., 50Hz-500Hz; APA4320 / 2160: -12dB/oct., 55Hz to 550Hz; APA2100: 50Hz-250Hz; APA450: 55Hz-5.5kHz; APA250: 55Hz-5.5kHz).

Gold-Plated RCA and Block Terminal on all ProAudio Amplifiers

Known for their increased conductivity and low signal loss, gold-plated RCA and block terminals provide a clean connection with minimal resistance to the RCA inputs, speaker outputs, and power connections. This prevents voltage drops, noise, heating, and other problems from affecting the performance of a sound system.

Space-Saving Design With High Heat Dissipation (APA4320/2160)

APA Series amps feature a die-cast design that boasts countless heat sinks for high-heat dissipation, eliminating the need for an internal fan. Also preventing overheating is the amplifier’s circuit design that inhibits heat dispersal. This heat dispersal effect is maximized during consecutive drives for high power in minimal space.

4-Part Digital Meter (APA4300HX)

Clarion allows you to stay in tune with your amplifier by equipping it with a 4-Part digital meter. Monitor your amp’s real-time power output level and consumption, voltage level and internal temperature.

Circuit Design Achieves High Quality Sound

Encompassing a host of high quality components, Clarion’s APA series amps take your music to whole new level. Touting uncompromising resistance to magnetic noise, the circuit design utilized by Clarion’s amplifiers allow for easy subwoofer system configurations using its embedded highpass and low-pass filters. Offering low electrical and contact resistance for crystal clear sound is Clarion’s high-grade, gold-plated block terminals. These amps also boast 2-ohm stability for increased power and reliability when connected to speakers with 2-ohm loads. To put it simply, Clarion’s line of amplifiers tout superior power and versatility.

The APA4320 utilizes the most advanced internal components. The result is superior audio performance for your system.
